List of Page Blocks

This is a stretch callout in action.

This is a stretch callout. You may notice that the headline used here is an H2 and that the headline section in the CMS is left blank. This is because Mostly Serious often used the H2 styling to introduce page content.

Notes on Settings

If you click the Settings tab for this Stretch Callout block, you'll see some spacing options and Background Color options. There's no hard and fast rule for using the background colors, but their intention is to break up content visually and should be used with caution. If you ever have any questions about using background colors for modules, reach out to the Mostly Serious team.

Check out some more blocks in action, including this Rich Text block.

But first, note that this text looks a lot like the Shared Callout block—however, it's actually a Rich Text block. The primary difference is that the Rich Text block just contains a WYSIWYG ("What You See is What You Get") functionality and not much else. When you're putting together a block of text and want to include a two-column list below it like what you see here, we recommend creating a Rich Text block immediately followed by a Multi-Column Rich Text block.

That's what is shown here and you can see it at work in the CMS.

Now that you've seen the Stretch Callout block, an Accordion block, and a Card Set block, take a look at some other blocks in action:

  • Icon Callout block
  • Before and After Slider block
  • Video Callout block
  • Shared Callout block
  • Video Set block
  • Image Slider block
  • Image Callout block
  • Testimonial block

Icon Callout 1

These icon callouts are great for displaying bite-sized pieces of information.

Icon Callout 2

You can choose an icon from a pre-selected list. Just click "Pick an icon" in the CMS.

Icon Callout 3

Keep these icon descriptions as short and sweet as possible. Avoid using long text.

This is a Video Callout in Action

You can add text, too.

You can click the Half Width Rich Text button or Half Width Testimonial button to add some accompanying context to the video. Doing this will make the video container slightly smaller and move it to the left. Or you can leave it as just the video and it'll be centered nicely on the page.

Standalone Image Slider

An image slider with just one slide can stand out as a nice, attention-grabbing callout.

SECONDARY TEXT

Image Slider With Multiple Slides

These can contain headlines, secondary text, and sub text like what you see here. Or they can be left plain like the next slider image. If an image is low-res, select "Full" width instead of "Stretch" width.

Church audio visual companies like Paragon ensure there's not a bad seat in the house.

"This is a testimonial block. Note that it's somewhat short and sweet—try to avoid pasting in large paragraphs. Two to four brief sentences is recommended. Also note that it flows nicely into the footer."
