Project Overview

JQH Arena “The Q” is the home to the Missouri State Bears and Lady Bears basketball teams and an iconic tribute to Missouri State intercollegiate athletics. It was opened in 2008 at a cost $67M and seats 11,000 with 22 suites, a club and other amenities. The new arena became the premier basketball facility and qualified to host women’s NCAA postseason games and has been an ideal place to host local, regional and statewide high school and collage events, plus concerts and special events.

Paragon 360 has been the turn-key Audio partner since JQH's opening. The audio system includes ten line array speaker systems including a separate secondary system for use during commencements and other events utilizing a stage on one end of the facility. All of the line array speakers are fully motorized via a custom motor control panel for ease of maintenance and configuration. The system is cobra-net based and controlled by QSC processing and power amplification and is easily configured with custom computer controlled presets. Feedback about system components and its status are always at hand to the operator. Also provided are multiple localized systems to cover all suites, concourse areas and other auxiliary spaces throughout the arena.
